#Blog | What Goes In, Must Come Out
To say that the past few weeks for me personally have been turbulent would be an understatement but I’m not one to whine about such things. Instead, I work them out in a song. The result has been the lyrics posted lately for the songs “No Parachute” and “The Fracture”. I wrote those along with more than several others of the past week or so. Each one addressing a different issue that life throws at all if us.
For me the songs are personal so I decided I will record the demos for these with just and an acoustic guitar. I don’t get a chance to do this very often and truth be told it is my favorite way to perform. The reason being is none of the subtleties are lost like they can when all the other instruments are added. The second, being that the performance is all up to me. There is something almost mystical when you have no other band members or instruments to lean on and every note is all up to you. You either bring your A-game and nail it or go down in flames.
In the next several days I hope to have at least two acoustic demos uploaded for you listening enjoyment. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.
