Leisurely she dispenses
More love upon my shoulder
For every year she grows older
Days flow into another
Winds kiss like my lover
Though she knows not to gain
Above it all, beyond the pain

Dreams come to be
In this imagined galaxy
A reason to be
A season to see
A king's conquer oh so idle
A heart beats very vital
For all I claim to see
Fabric for her mystery

Decisions and consequences
Breaking down all pretenses
Of what they thought to be
Too color blind to see
They take it all together
Bringing us stormy weather
For every shade of hate
To color their kill debate

Dreams come to be
In this caged histocracy
Unto a bitter reason
Filling the killing season
Guns shoot aloud
Piercing the peaceful crowd
A mother lays dead
Her son cradling her head
And I ask why
Why we say goodbye
To all that could be
Of peace, love and harmony
